FAQs

Q:

When does Rise Up Homeschool meet?

A:

RUHM meets on Thursdays for two twelve-week semesters. Check-in begins at 8:50am and we start our morning meeting at 9:10am. Classes dismiss back to the sanctuary at 12:10pm and we break for lunch and fellowship until 1:30pm.

Q:

How Much does Rise Up Homeschool ministry cost a year?

A:

Rise Up is blessed to be a ministry within Ramoth Baptist Church. This means that we are able to keep our costs low, but we do charge a small yearly registration fee for all families. The break down is as follows: $50 for the first child and $25 for each additional child with a cap of $125 per family.

Each class also has a supply fee attached that ranges from $50-$25 depending on the class. Students will take three classes each semester.

Q:

Can I drop my kids off?

A:

Our ministry relies on everyone being involved. We require all parents to volunteer in some capacity during the Rise Up day.

Q:

What classes are available?

A:

Classes are different each semester. We rely on the parents to volunteer to teach and if there is a need for a class, we ask people to step up and teach.
